A site-specific performance concept developed through The Fridge for Amaala, for the pre-opening of the Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, in response to the theme Al-Hal wa Al-Tarhal.

The work explored migration as emotional and spiritual reorientation rather than literal travel, positioning Amaala as a place of pause, renewal, and alignment. Informed by research, oral heritage, and interview-based listening, it was conceived as a meditative sonic experience drawing on spatial sound, atmospheric scenography, and poetic text to create an immersive reflection on listening, movement, and arrival.
